The Erasmus Forestry Network functions as a network of European universities dedicated to fostering collaborative initiatives, enhancing the mobility of students, faculty, and researchers. Its primary objective is to promote and strengthen cooperative efforts within higher education, specifically focusing on forestry, wood, and related disciplines.

2. PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION
2.1 The main purpose of the Association is activities serving the public benefit, consisting in particular of:
a) promoting cooperation between public institutions, schools, research organisations and the private sector in the field of natural sciences and technologies,
b) supporting and implementing educational, research and professional projects, including internships, professional placements and exchange stays,
c) enhancing the prestige of natural science and technical disciplines and conducting outreach activities towards the general public.
3. OBJECT OF ACTIVITIES
3.1 To fulfil its purpose, the Association in particular:
a) organises meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences,
b) creates, manages and updates information databases on educational and research activities,
c) maintains and develops international partnerships and participates in international projects,
d) publishes professional and popular science publications and carries out outreach activities,
e) cooperates with the media, public authorities, local governments and other entities,
f) develops its membership base and promotes the sharing of experience and know-how among its members.
